Wheel alignment vs wheel balancing

The difference between vibration, pulling, uneven wear, steering position, and when each service is needed.

Balancing solves vibration

Wheel balancing corrects weight differences in the tyre and wheel assembly. If the car vibrates at higher speeds, balancing is one of the first services to check.

Alignment solves direction and wear issues

Wheel alignment adjusts the wheel angles. If the vehicle pulls to one side, the steering wheel is off center, or tyres wear unevenly, alignment should be checked.

Both protect your tyres

A new tyre can wear quickly if the wheels are not balanced or aligned properly. Checking both services when replacing tyres can improve comfort and tyre life.
